He was born on February 2, 1977 in a creative family, his mother is a musician and his father is an architect.  From an early age he was fond of music, drawing, literature.  At the age of five, he began singing in the Shchedryk Choir.  He later entered the Kyiv Secondary Special Music School named after  MV Lysenko, and after that - continued his professional growth at the National Academy of Music of Ukraine.  P.I.  Tchaikovsky, who graduated in 2000 with a degree in specialist.

Kirill Borodin is the author of many musical works, arrangements, acts as a sound producer of musical projects, has many years of experience in recording and sound design.  He is a founder, constantly and sessionally participates in recordings and performances of such projects and performers as: "Tathagata", "CoMaha", "Gurt-YO-Gurt", "Retrogray", "Mandry", "Kamtugeza", Sonya Sotnik,  Serhiy Kuzin, TNMK, NeDilya, Rosava, Susanna Karpenko, Oleh Skrypka and others ...

In the summer of 2020 - took fourth place among composers of serial production according to the results of online rating voting
