Mariupolchanka is a women's football team. Its members, namely team captain Yana Vynokurova and coach Karina Kulakovska, managed to self-organize after the team was disqualified from the Major Football League for breaking the rules by its management. In 2018, at the time of the film's filming, the goal of the athletes was to return to the Major League on their own, without their former management. The women were able to find a training facility, recruit the right number of players for the team, and find money for props, salaries, and travel.
Mariupolchanka is an amazing example of women's solidarity, cooperation, and self-organization that seemed impossible in the world of industry and big capital.

The film is a meticulously and comprehensively reconstructed biography of the Ukrainian composer and poet Volodymyr Ivasyuk (1949–1979), spanning from his early childhood to his tragic death. Filming took place in Kitsman, Vyzhnytsia, Chernivtsi and Lviv; some interviews were recorded in Kyiv.
Volodymyr is portrayed by those closest to him — his sisters Halyna and Oksana, and his friends and creative partners: Vasyl Strychovych, Levko Dutkovsky, Volodymyr Voznyuk, Roman Kudlyk, Yuriy Rybchynskyi, Bohdan Stelmakh and many others. Ivasyuk himself also reveals a great deal about himself in the film.
The documentary features unique footage—both amateur and professional—that has never been seen before. Among them are light-hearted film sketches shot by Volodymyr himself, in which he plays the lead role.
