Ukraine produces extraordinary talent — but it is not always able to keep it. More than 40 million Ukrainians live outside the country — roughly the same number as those living in Ukraine itself. They are intelligent, hardworking, creative, and ambitious. Some consciously chose to build their lives abroad, while others found themselves there by chance, in a stable world with strong social protections.

But there are also those who choose a different path. People with successful careers, prestigious educations, and international recognition who decide to return home. They trade comfort for challenge, stability for a dream.

What drives these individuals? Why, after seeing the world, do they choose Ukraine once again? And what kind of country are they helping to build — for themselves, for all of us, and for future generations?

The film follows four real-life stories of Ukrainians who made the decision to return and create change in their homeland. Four initiatives, five protagonists, countless journeys — and one shared purpose: to develop themselves to help develop Ukraine.

The film is devoted to the law "On the principles of state language policy" ("Kolesnichenko-Kivalov's Law", 2012).
