Often people work at a job that is not their vocation or the job of their dreams. So it happened with Karina from the series - a seamstress who always dreamed of dancing and the stage, although she lived in a small mining town.

Even her own family does not support her in her desire to achieve her dream, and the dance group she led for the children is going to close. However, fate gives the heroine a chance - a famous dance troupe comes to town, and Karina above all dreams of becoming one of them. There are many obstacles in her way, but the girl hopes that she will succeed.

Shot in a steppe landscape in southern Ukraine, the film follows the process of transformation of an abandoned Soviet apartment building. Built according to a standardized Soviet master plan, its construction is slowly being dismantled by private individuals, who are creating new architectural units from the removed modules. Thus, traces of private biographies and remnants of past ideologies, inscribed in physical remnants, continue to circulate in the community and find ways to new constructions.

The film considers this process of appropriation and use as a form of material connection with the past, as well as an act of self-affirmation. Given, on the one hand, the Soviet infrastructure and belief systems that continue to influence daily life; on the other hand, to the mass political upheavals and privatization processes of the early 1990s, the film raises the question of how people and communities deal with such asynchronies as they navigate between socialist and capitalist ruins and what forms of reflection and interaction emerge.

Максим і Маша Ковальови, що працюють в Голландії, вирішують влаштувати відпустку собі й батькам в Туреччині. Там Будько здогадуються, що Юрій і Ольга розлучилися, але ретельно приховують це від дітей і сватів. Починається спецоперація по відновленню шлюбу Ковальових. Розгортається вона в Криму, куди обидві родини їдуть слідом за Женею, відправленої батьками на відпочинок до «Артеку». Після приїзду Будько переконуються, що Крим – місце недешеве, і пропонують Ковальовим в будинку, який надав для сватів закордонний друг Максима, відкрити готель. Ковальови, які спочатку були проти, згодом з ентузіазмом приєднуються до «спільної справи».
Бізнес-пригоди Будько-Ковальових подарують їм нових друзів і знайомих, поставлять перед необхідністю протидіяти підступам конкурента і бандитському «наїзду». Сім’ям вдасться успішно зустріти батьків Олі, які відвідали дочку й зятя з інспекційним візитом, та пережити бурхливий приїзд і від’їзд бабія і картяра, а за сумісництвом – товариша по службі Юрія Анатолійовича Сан Санича Берковича. Ще свати встигнуть посприяти влаштуванню особистого життя безпутного Мітяя і стервенної Лариси, подолати непоборну пристрасть Валі до мережевого маркетингу, обставити в казино бувалого «катали», і виграти міжнародний готельний конкурс. А головне – помирити Олю і Юру.
