The young Kovalyov family is expecting a new addition – Masha is in her final month of pregnancy. And, as with any couple at this stage, the young married couple are experiencing some difficulties, and a minor crisis in their relationship is looming. However, to their five-year-old daughter Zhenya, these difficulties do not seem trivial at all. And the girl, who is wise and independent beyond her years, solves the problem in her own way — she calls on her grandparents for help. 

The mother-in-law, father-in-law, and the couple’s parents find themselves living under the same roof as the young family and immediately set about trying to save the marriage. But each set of parents has its own approach to solving the problem. In the battle for peace in the family, as they say, all is fair. And as a result of their ‘joint’ efforts, the ‘minor crisis’ escalates into a ‘major conflict’.

The occupation of Bucha by Russian troops in February-March 2022 will forever be etched in the memories and hearts of the people who lived and still live there. But the memories of this period should not be lost in the passage of time, because it is a reminder to the world about the terrorist regime.

This film is about people who, despite the grief they have experienced, inspire us not to give up, but to bring our common victory closer together. Stories that evoke pain and empathy.

About the fate of a woman against the background of Transcarpathian history.

The grandmother of the film's author, Maria Fedorovna, recounts her life: as a 15-year-old girl, she had to marry another village because "Russians evicted the bullets" as "Russians" broke up a family-owned house, the largest in the village, taken away. all the cattle and supplies, and the brother was sentenced to 7 years. The richest family is forced to suffer. The film also tells about the effects of the 2015 earthquake in Roundabout. When earth tremors shook the village, Maria was in hospital. Before returning home, her relatives repaired cracks in the house to keep her grandmother Maria from worry.
