In the forest, the sly fox Anisia, together with her badger nephews, runs a tavern, where her old friend, the songwriter Wolf Vova, rarely acts. From the newspaper, she learns that the Ryaba hen has laid a golden egg and offers the gray predator to steal it with the bird from Santa and Baba. The fox plans to have a chicken hatched from the precious product that will carry golden eggs every day. As Vova embarks on the path of correction, Anisia convinces him that this is absolutely fair income. At night, the wolf enters the chicken coop, but it is detected by Santa, and the escaping robber manages to retrieve only the golden egg.
