According to the plot, three best friends – Sergey, Yarik and Roma – decide to surprise their friend, who serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and visit him on the eve of his birthday. This frivolous, reckless idea marks the beginning of an unpredictable journey from their native Odesa to Mykolaiv, and later through reoccupied villages and right into the epicentre of the fighting. Along the way, encountering adventures that become more dangerous with every kilometre, the heroes discover the deeper wounds of war and meet people who change them forever.

Based on the story of Mykola Leskov's "The Beast" and "The Lives of St. Sergius of Radonezh".

The story of how a six-year-old boy brought up in love, faith in God, was deeply traumatized by the behavior of his uncle, who was brutally harassed by a bear. Uncle, under the influence of a child and family, is ready to repent.
