The plot is based on Taras Shevchenko's poem "Katerina".
An ordinary girl Kateryna lives in the village of Shuliky. Suddenly, a group for filming a film and popular actor Alexei Krasilnikov come here.
Catherine falls in love with Alexei and events are rapidly gaining momentum. Everyone's life changes quickly: the girl gets pregnant and tries hard to escape from the village to find her lover. Of course, on her way there will be more than one test, the girl will have to become stronger, change and learn to accept life as it is. But will she be able to get what she wants?
