Hotel room. A man and a woman meet secretly once again. But this night the woman offers her husband to change his life… by ordering a wish, as in childhood.

Anna Nazarova, a former teacher of Russian language and literature, went to Italy to earn money with her friend Dinka six years ago, from where Anna regularly sent her children money to study. The eldest daughter Natalia is an athlete who works as a coach at a sports school. The younger twins - Nikolasha and Vikusya - are students. Mykola is also a businessman, and Vikusya decided to get married. But at her daughter's wedding, Anna realizes that no one was really waiting for her here. Yuri's husband had a younger wife, Albina. Natalia and Mykola dropped out of the institute. Well, the younger Vikusya wants only a new apartment from her mother.

Anya feels confused and redundant in her "old new" life. And yet - to the delight of the viewer - love and kindness, attitude to life with humor - will certainly help to overcome any life challenges.

Based on the drama by Ivan Franko. The action of the film was postponed to the 1990s.

The main characters - Anna, Michael and Nicholas - are trying to find their happiness in acute life circumstances. In the love triangle, passion coexists with betrayal, suffering with sin, and forgiveness with death. The heroes find themselves in a situation where happiness is simply impossible - it is stolen from everyone.

The unmarried Vladimir Arkhipov lived peacefully with his faithful mastiff and did not intend to make any changes in his life. Everything just happened. Lizaveta's eccentric neighbor died and left her an apartment and her so-called “orphan girl” as her inheritance.
However, the orphan turned out to be a grown-up girl named Masha, who caught the imagination of the lonely Arkhipov. But why didn't the neighbor leave her the apartment? Was it because the Path to Joy sect claimed it? Then Masha's half-brother from the provinces fell for her, and then they both disappeared. Concerned about their disappearance and thinking about the strange death of his neighbor, Arkhipov begins to investigate.
