On New Year's Eve, young Alice, who lives in a country house with her mother, is preparing for the holiday and waiting for dear guests, among whom should be her peer Afanasy, but the girl flatly refuses to make frivolous acquaintances and dreams of marrying for love. She rejects all signs of attention from her uncultured suitor and goes down to the basement, where she clumsily stumbles and falls into the fairy-tale Wonderland. There she meets the charming Red Jack, but before they are allowed to be together, they must both defeat the Queen of Hearts and her henchmen.

Alexander Sanin is a pilot who has been operating planes for a long time and is preparing to go to rest. One day, while shooting in advertising in Lviv, he is asked to substitute a sick colleague and sit at the helm of a flight to Kiev. Thanks to the case, the famous actress Lyubov Zhurba flies to the capital by plane. In June, Sanin studied her acting skills. The actress recognizes her former student and invites her to a performance with her participation. However, the situation changes unexpectedly, and the role of Jury is taken by a young girl. Love is not upset and invites Alexander to the speech of her daughter, who followed in the footsteps of her mother.

Old acquaintances tell each other how they have developed a life. Love parted with her husband not long ago, as all the newspapers wrote, and now she came to see her daughter, Helen, before she went to Canada. Alexander's story is somewhat similar: he is divorced and he has a son, but his father rarely sees him. Tired of loneliness, Love begins to see in Sanina the man with whom she could spend the rest of her life. And Alexander himself understands that he has the opportunity to be with such a charming actress, about which he dreamed while still a student of the theater school ...
