Border Guards. 2nd Year continues to tell the story of cadets at the Border Guard Service Academy, who find themselves on the front line every day, not only in combat but also in their own moral decisions.

In the summer of 2022, the Academy brings cadets back from the front lines to complete their training. Tolik, Andriy, and Daryna reunite in their second year with a new instructor who initially struggles to connect with them. Meanwhile, Krynytskyi, due to the consequences of his injuries, decides to stay at the Academy and educate a new generation, taking the first year under his wing. Against the backdrop of confrontation between the courses, the Academy is attacked, and the main characters are forced to go into battle again.
