Cardamom Coffee. The Power of the Earth

Ukraine 2025

Genre DramaHistorical

Director Іrina Hromozda

The story unfolds in 19th-century Lviv, against the backdrop of the “Spring of Nations,” and recounts the lives of the characters after the dramatic events of the first season.

The main character, Anna, is a 20-year-old priest's daughter who lives with her aunt Stefania in the village of Zhovkva. The atmosphere at home is overshadowed by Stefania's despotic husband, Pavlo, but Anna meekly endures the burden of everyday life. Everything changes when Polish nobleman Adam arrives at the neighbouring estate. Despite his age, Anna feels genuine admiration for him, and her forbidden feelings gradually grow into deep passion. In the second season, Anna is no longer a fragile girl, but a mature woman, hardened by difficulties. She is forced to take care of her children and the estate, struggling with financial problems and the risk of losing her home. Her heart finds itself in the midst of new trials: to choose the ambitious industrialist Stefan Terletsky or to give preference to the influential Minister of Finance Pavel Krushevsky.
