Anton Ptushkin's film journey to the Ukrainian Antarctic station “Academician Vernadsky”. This is a story about people who are researching the future of the planet while living in conditions where there are no shops, trees or personal space.

The film tells about the challenges of the icy continent and everyday life at the station, the importance of climate observations, and why Ukraine is one of the few countries with a full presence in Antarctica. This is a story about science, melting glaciers, and, of course, penguins.

The film takes place during the Ukrainian War of Independence of 1917-1921.

Two Makhnovist bandits ambush a Red Army convoy carrying a large sum of money. The robbery goes awry, and the captured commander of the armoured carrier is taken along with the money. There is no turning back and THREE different men, who miraculously escaped death, turn from irreconcilable enemies into brothers in the fight against the red plague.

The film tells the story of two Ukrainian servicewomen, best friends and witty paramedics, who go by the call signs “Cuba” and “Alaska”, on the front line of the Russian-Ukrainian war, who experience a common story for all soldiers: the longer they defend Ukraine, the more they lose touch with friends, family and their former lives.

The film, which consists largely of footage shot on phones and GoPro cameras attached to their helmets and chests, offers a rare glimpse into the daily lives of medics and their trust in each other, a testament to the brotherhood necessary to survive in this world.
