Nadia Kosenkova, a primary school teacher at a private school, adores her work and pupils. For this, she got the nickname Mother Hen.

Nadia dreams to have a child, but children “do not fit into” the plans of her husband, Vlad, the headmaster at the same school. And soon it is revealed that he has long been cheating on Nadia. Having learned of her husband’s betrayal, Nadia quits. Nadia loses both her family and her job in a single day.

At the same time, the tragedy happens in the family of Nadia’s pupil, Liza Aksenova. Right on the girl’s birthday, her mother dies in a road accident. Lisa’s father, Alexei, has never been on good terms with his daughter and has no idea how to get on with her. Moreover, the girl faces serious psychological issues after her mother's death. The only person who can reach her out now is Nadia. Having understood this, Alexei offers Nadia to become Lisa's tutor for some time.

Thus, Nadia gets into the big country estate of the Aksenovs and unwittingly becomes a participant of a big and dangerous game related to Aleksei's activities. It soon turns out that his wife's death was not accidental and that everyone close to him is also in great danger.

A story about the life of a girl who got a job as an assistant director of a large cosmetic company. Zoya Ivanivna Shulha, a resident of this village, decides to submit an information request to find out from the authorities why the bus to their village was canceled. The reaction of the authorities to the information request is to sign a new contract with the "old" carrier, which for years did not fulfill the terms of the previous agreement, depriving the residents of transport connections. This does not stop Zoya Ivanivna and she continues to write inquiries and appeals. Will the bus eventually go to her village? How to survive in a settlement on the verge of extinction, how to convince yourself and desperate fellow villagers to act?
