Ivan Ivanovich it’s an actor in his 50s who works in a small theater in a town.  He takes his student Cyril to audition in Kyiv.  This journey is difficult for both of them because Cyril doubts his own talent and his mentor, Ivan Ivanovich, hides from his student the real purpose of their trip to the capital.
