The film is based on Franz Kafka's unfinished story In unserer Synagoge.

The guy is trying to find out what happened at the old local synagogue. Obsessed, he pursues something still unprecedented and pays no attention to what is happening around him.

The film is based on real events.

The bear and the lion, the guys from Ukrainian village. They for various reasons appear on the military ship of Navy of Ukraine Cherkassy, deployed in port of the Crimean lake Donuzlav, during events on the Maidan of 2014. At a time when the crew of the minesweeper Cherkassy is trained, President Yanukovych flees from Ukraine, and the Crimea is captured by the green men. The occupation of the Crimean Peninsula begins. The ship returns to base, but the port is already lost. Cherkassy, together with other ships of the Ukrainian fleet, blocked in the lake Donuzlav – the way to the sea is blocked by the flooded vessels. Ukrainian ships surrender one by one, only the crew of Cherkassy resists and continues a brave, though hopeless, struggle with the enemy.

1932. Western Ukraine. Four Ukrainian UVO (Ukrainian Military Organization) supporters, nicknamed Black, Zyuk, Yavir and Teren, are planning robberies for resistance purposes. But everything goes wrong, and the carefully designed operation turns into a bloody massacre. Some of the fighters are killed in the attack, the rest are being pursued by Polish police. The chain of fatal events leads to the condemnation and execution of young revolutionaries. But the defeat turns into a victory - the liberation movement in Lviv region is gaining new momentum.

The scenario is based on real events (it refers to the robbery of a post in the town of Gorodok (then Grudek Jagiellonian) in 1932).

The story begins in Stanislavov in 1868. Dr. Anzer loses his wife in the fire, but manages to save two girls-his own daughter Adela and the daughter of housekeepers Stephanie. In a moment of despair, the doctor decides to raise them together.

It takes 25 years. The girls grew up and also inseparable, although she is married now. Steph also keeps house, quenching his passion for cooking. And they still do not understand who they are to each other: sisters and friends, or maid and mistress. In the kaleidoscope of love and jealousy, double meanings and mysteries, the line between reality and fiction finally disappears. Beautiful outfits, fine food, and endless spacei... What will happen when the illusion begins to dissipate, and instead reality emerges?
