A young filmmaker, Vitka, dreams of making a cool film and getting on the red carpet of international festivals. But all his hopes are shattered by a full-scale invasion, and now he has to reconsider his plans and values. Shortly before the events, he meets an activist, Oleksa, and falls in love with her. The girl goes to the front, and in search of her, Vitka first starts volunteering, and later finds himself in the unit of the Ukrainian commander Chumak. Here he learns new skills, from holding a weapon to flying a drone, and becomes a participant in an important operation that puts an end to the long-standing confrontation between Ukrainian and Russian officers.
