According to the updated regulations of the award, due to limited opportunities for rental and festival distribution, in addition to the screening date, the date of production of the film is taken into account - if it was created between October 1, 2019 - September 30, 2020 inclusive, it can also be submitted to the award committee. It is not necessary to have a cinema premiere, but it is mandatory to submit the tape through the form on the website of the Kyiv Critics' Week. To submit a film for consideration by the award committee, you must complete the application by August 28.
This year, film critics will present the award on October 24, traditionally as part of the "Kyiv Critics' Week"
