Looking for new ideas and talents
In Ukraine, the project "Scenario Pitching" is launched - for producers who are looking for new ideas, as well as for screenwriters who want to tell about their ideas and ready-made scripts to producers. The organizers of the project are the Ukrainian Film Academy and the online database of the Ukrainian audiovisual sector DzygaMDB. The initiator of the pitching was the screenwriter Serhiy Kastornykh.
From 13 to 22 May, all producers looking for ideas can fill out the form at the link.
Once all the wishes from the producers have been collected, the criteria for submitting applications for pitching from the screenwriters will be formed. Acceptance of applications from screenwriters will begin in late May.
Currently, all screenwriters and producers are invited to register on the DzygaMDB resource, on the basis of which the pitching will take place. A permanent library of scripts will also be formed there soon. The section is currently under development.
The pitching will take place online, so producers and screenwriters from all over Ukraine will be able to join it.
The DzygaMDB facebook page will contain text and video recommendations on how to properly prepare a request for pitching, how to conduct it, etc.
Producers such as Yegor Olesov (Animagrad), Maksym Asadchy (Pronto film), Volodymyr Yatsenko (Limelite and ForeFilms), Oleksiy Gladushevsky (StarLightMedia (Starlight Originals) and Real Pictures), Olga Panteleimonova (Star Media), Yaroslav have already joined the project. Lodygin (Public Broadcasting), Natalia Strybuk (Ukraine TV Channel), Olena Kanishevska (Tele Pro, Media Group Ukraine), Olena Yeremeeva, Khrystyna Shkabar (1 + 1 media), Iryna Zarya (Ukrainian Production Studio), Sergey Lavreniuk (Solar Media Entertainment).
