The hero of the story is tired of the gray routine and quarrels at home, typical of Kiev. He has no hope for a better life. But here is the routine and the hopelessness of the mystical event. In the basement of the hero inhabits a mysterious guest. His requirements are simple - he is calm in the basement, and the protagonist gets a better life. Months pass - an apartment, success at work, perfect relationships with his wife ... But there comes a time when you have to pay for easy happiness. And the price of change for the better is bloody.
