After the First World War, Transcarpathia experienced a revival of national identity. In early 1939, as Europe was preparing for another war, the struggle for control of the region intensified. In the difficult conditions of political and military confrontation, full independence of the Carpathian Ukraine was proclaimed.

But on the night of March 13-14, 1939, Hungary, with the support of Hitler's Germany, launched a war against the Carpathian Ukraine. After clashes with Czech troops, the army of the newly created Transcarpathian Carpathian Sich took control of the country. From the first hours of the Hungarian invasion part of the "Carpathian Sich" waged bloody battles with the dominant forces of the enemy along the line Uzhgorod-Mukachevo-Beregovo-Sevlyush. On March 16, 1939, after suffering heavy casualties, the enemy succeeded in capturing Khust, and on March 18, much of the territory of the Carpathian Ukraine was occupied by Hungarian troops. According to various sources, from 2 to 6,5 thousand people were killed in the protection of the Carpathian Ukraine.

The short period of existence of the Carpathian Ukraine became one of the most striking pages of the Carpathian Ukrainians' long-standing struggle for the establishment of statehood. The film combines three storylines - eyewitness stories, little-known documents, expertly captured landscapes and scenes. In order to make the film, footage from the cinematographer Kalenik Lysyuk, Czechoslovak military chronicles, as well as the materials of British journalist Michael Vinc and correspondent of the American New York Times Anne McCormick, who worked in the Carpathian Ukraine at the time as international observers, were used.

Vera and Nikita are not familiar, they have never seen each other. Not counting the fact that they have chosen the same place to celebrate their success in their personal lives. Vera is a successful talk show host of her own, is getting married, her fiance Konstantin is a famous tennis player. Nikita, an in-demand veterinarian, made an offer to Iloni's hand and heart, a plastic surgeon. They were all good, they were happy, friends supported their choice, but everything changed one morning when Vira and Nikita woke up in the same bed.

Deciding that these are the effects of stormy fun, they disperse in different directions, hoping to forget it all as a terrible dream. But the next morning everything repeats, they wake up again in the same bed in the same House of Your Dreams, although each of them knows exactly what they fell asleep at home. This goes on for a few more days. Some mysterious forces constantly deceive them, destroying their personal lives, or perhaps pointing out that they were created for each other…

Short film almanac created by analogy with the Paris, I Love You, New York, I Love You movie projects. It consists of eight short stories by young Ukrainian directors. Novels are captured in different genres (drama, thriller, comedy), but united by one common idea – love in the modern city.

In the basement of the hero inhabits a mysterious guest. His requirements are simple - he is calm in the basement, and the protagonist gets a better life. Months pass - an apartment, success at work, perfect relationships with his wife ... But there comes a time when you have to pay for easy happiness. And the price of change for the better is bloody.

The janitor protects his yard alone from the noise of teens. And the music teacher opens the windows wide open and plays the piano loudly for everyone to hear their backyard tunes. The symbolism of the relationship and communication between the young janitor and the music teacher is reminiscent of the loss of an era that new technical times are hiding in Kyiv.
