During one tragic night, Lesya Ukrainka wrote a dramatic poem "Obsessed". That night she said goodbye to her beloved, who passed away. But no matter what the blows of fate, the Almighty always shone on Lesya with a ray of love. Lesya Ukrainka was obsessed with love.

Odessa is considered the center of the criminal world, so it attracts bandits, thieves and the mafia, who do not give a peaceful life to ordinary people.

Gleb Mechnikov is the head of the criminal investigation department in Odessa. He lives by the principle: everything is possible for me, this is my city, this is my bandits, the law is me. The only person next to whom Mechnikov can be thin and vulnerable is his sixteen-year-old daughter Christina, whom he raised alone.

Gleb cannot calmly accept the created circumstances and undertakes to protect the inhabitants of his hometown. The hero is self-sufficient, sometimes cruel and will not give up his principles. Mechnikov has a rare charisma that attracts women.

Vera and Oleg are a married couple. The Lapins have been together for seventeen years. They are raising two wonderful children: a teenage daughter and a young son. One might get the impression that, since a man and a woman have been married for so long, they have no skeletons in the cupboard. But in reality, Oleg and Vera mistrust each other, and a chill is increasingly creeping into their relationship. One day, during a picnic with friends, an unpleasant incident occurs, sparking a storm of emotions. All the characters’ dark secrets gradually begin to come to light.

A series of unexpected events will further bring to the surface the couple’s hidden conflicts, which have been simmering beneath the surface for years. All the unspoken issues and mutual grievances will begin to spill out. The couple will reflect on their relationship and try to recall why they decided to be together so long ago, and why they chose each other as life partners. Vera and Oleg have complex and contradictory personalities. These people have committed quite a few wrongdoings in their lives. But, as it later transpires, they had understandable reasons for this. The characters will find it incredibly difficult to make sense of their relationship and their feelings. They try to be as open with each other as possible.

Nelia is an owner of Omelko’s House, a country house museum of folk domestic life in the village of Kozubivka, Poltava region. Nelia and her husband Oleksandr are helping relocated people who have fled from bombing and shelling attacks in Kharkiv to adapt in the village. They are becoming friends with one another.

Due to the war, Nelia is very anxious about famine. To help the displaced people from Kharkiv have enough food, she gives them a big garden patch and planting seeds, where they plant potatoes and vegetables.

Over time, it becomes evident that the people who moved here from the city are not ready for hard physical work on the land plot because they hope that the war will end soon. Without proper care, the planted harvest starts degrading.

Will they be able to find a compromise, save the vegetable garden and their relationships?

Future border guards come from different parts of Ukraine and for different reasons to join the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Some are continuing a family tradition, some are doing it for the company of a school friend, and some have made this decision after completing their military service. The cadets' mentor, Ivan Krynytskyi, uses his own methodology to turn yesterday's “yard boys” into real combat officers.
