Marusya Burova, a young girl from a northern Russian town, smart, beautiful, car racer, is going through bad times. Marusya just buried her mother, who raised her herself. My mother's brother, Uncle Vitya, persuades her to move to Moscow.
Among her mother's papers, Marusya finds unsent letters to her only lover, Marusya's father. The girl decides to look for him. Under the romantic descriptions from the old letters fit three candidates at once - "three musketeers", friends from his youth, now connected by a difficult business relationship.
Continuing the search, Marusya finds herself at the center of a confusing intrigue that could destroy the old friendship of the "musketeers" and possibly seriously threaten the life of one of them.
