Igor came to Yalta to his friend to photograph the remains of an ancient Genoese ship that sank in the Black Sea many years ago. However, life holds a lot of surprises: on his first night in the city, he meets Irina, who works in the press service of a political party. But the continuation of a pleasant acquaintance is overshadowed by the murder, which they witnessed during the meeting.

Igor, who does not part with his video camera for a moment, accidentally records the murder on film ... News on TV talks about suicide, but only Igor and Irina know what really happened ... and they have real proof of that. But the killer who saw them during the crime is also known about this video ... The plot is based on the life of a newly formed police unit. Georgy Mamiashvili, the head of the police department, is a Georgian with a specific sense of humor, who blamed all his friends and relatives for corruption. Ukrainian musicologist Stanislav Nevmerzytskyi has been researching the history and theory of classical music, the work of modern Ukrainian classical composers for more than 10 years. Now he decides to study the works of the Ukrainian composer Maxim Shalygin. He is one of the representatives of the young generation of composers who was able to achieve significant success in Europe and Ukraine.
Stanislav travels from Kyiv to the Netherlands to visit the composer. There Maxim uncovers the secrets of the composer's work, dips into the atmosphere of his music and reveals the exciting problems of creativity and classical music. The composer takes Stas into the world of music creation. Together with Maxim Shalygin, Stas sees the industrial cities of Ukraine and the picturesque places of the Netherlands. Thus, we can see behind the scenes of rehearsals and concerts. We can see the features of the creation of newly designed instruments, immerse ourselves in the thoughts of the composer, watch the writing of compositions, observe the life cycle of music creation: from the moment of its conception to performance at a concert.

The main story line is the presenter's interview with the composer in the Netherlands. During this interview Maxim tells stories from his creative path. All of them are visualized with other modalities in the film.

All Maxim's stories come to life and transfer us into the atmosphere and experiences that the composer tells Stas about.
