The goal of the Unknown Bortnianskyi project is to promote Ukrainian choral art in the media space by creating a high-quality national television product. The project presents the unknown musical heritage of one of the most prominent Ukrainian composers, Dmytro Bortnianskyi (1751-1825), whose 270th birthday was celebrated in 2021.
Thanks to the project, five "choral concertos" by Dmytro Bortnianskyi unknown in Ukraine were found and arranged, audio and video recordings of these works were made by the Voskresinnia choir, and the film was presented on national and regional TV channels.
