A young, beautiful, well-off, but lonely woman begins to receive mysterious text messages on her phone. No, she is not threatened, on the contrary, an unknown man confesses his love. A short self-investigation shows that none of the known gentlemen is simply capable of this. Unable to talk to a stranger – “the subscriber is disconnected or is out of range of the network”.

After another letter, she is not quite legally, trying to find out who owns the phone with a number that never answers. The result is disappointing – the number is issued in her name. Then she also decides to send.

Each new game becomes so exciting that even Lesika's dad, who works from home, joins them from time to time. The film is based on real historical facts and events, which are supported by archival documents, reports of officials of the Soviet occupation authorities and eyewitness accounts. The main events take place in the village of Skvaryava in the then Krasnensky district of the Lviv region, after the re-liberation of the Soviet Union in 1944.
