In the center of the plot is the story of Julia, who remains an orphan at the age of 9: her mother dies from complications after suffering from the flu on her feet. The girl will be sent to a boarding school. All dreams of a happy life fail. As well as the dream of traveling with my mother to the ocean.

Eighteen years have passed. Julia works as a pharmacy courier. She marries Mikhail and gives birth to a daughter, Masha. But family happiness does not last long: Michael accidentally meets his first love. Old feelings flare up again, he throws Julia and goes to another. The main character barely makes ends meet: the woman raises the child herself, the ex-husband does not help. Julia loves her daughter very much. She promises Masha: when she grows up, they will go to see the world together and will definitely go to the ocean. But suddenly a new blow: the main character learns that she has cancer and she has only a few months left to live ...

A movie project in the genre of phantasmagoria telling the story of a strange journey of two Italians in Eastern Ukraine, which immerses the audience into the world of irony and avant-garde.

This is the first movie adaptation of the work of the Ukrainian writer of «Executed Renaissance» generation (which was destroyed by the Bolshevik totalitarian regime), Mike Johansen (1895-1937).
