Life is full of many wonderful moments and sometimes it seems that nothing can overshadow it. However, sometimes the unpredictable happens: war. Nadezhda, the main character, worked in a dangerous area as a doctor, helping people. But it so happened that she had to leave to avoid death.

 After a while, she returns to her hometown, and relatives help the young girl to settle down again. Hope is again taken to save lives. However, something happens that completely changes her worldview. She takes a little six-year-old boy out of the danger zone at the request of his grandmother. The child begins to feel attached to the heroine, even calling her mother. Will the girl dare to adopt, given that the boy does not represent his mother better than Nadezhda?

The dream of a modest nurse Xenia about a wonderful life in a new place with a loved one is suddenly shattered by the news of her mother's serious illness. Xenia is forced to cancel her move abroad and look for money for an expensive operation. Left alone, homeless and jobless, she tries to do everything in her power.

Suddenly, she receives an offer to be a caregiver in the home of a wealthy widow, Olga Bolgova. Xenia gladly accepts the offer. The new house and its occupants frighten her at first, but later Ksenia gets used to it. She tries to make life at home and help Olga recover. Fortunately, at first she is doing well. But in fact, Xenia still does not understand what a dangerous game she was involved in ...

The main character Veronica is young and beautiful, but after a car accident she is confined to a wheelchair. She is depressed and does not believe in the possibility of her own recovery.

The only thing that brings her out of this state is her passion for astronomy and a rare phenomenon that is about to happen: a comet collision in the constellation Veronica's Hair. She accidentally meets Andriy, a young successful lawyer. He begins to visit Veronica and push her to fight the disease.

Young people fall in love with each other, Andrew even leaves the girl with whom he was to marry soon. But Veronica and Andrew will have to go through many obstacles to finally be happy.

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, the village of Stara Zburyivka in the Kherson region was occupied by the invaders, and its head, Viktor Maruniak (one of the protagonists of the 2015 film Ukrainian Sheriffs), was tortured in Russian captivity and forced to leave.

The film is made in the format of an interview with Maruniak, but in fact it is much more than that: a meditation on the relativity of all earthly problems.
