Anton is used to obeying his parents, but at a certain point he realizes that all along, he has been living by someone else’s script and that all he has is a job he hates and a wife he doesn’t love. He decides to turn his life around and reaches out to his first love Olga who lives in a small town; he confesses to her that his feelings for her are still alive. Olga is happy, as this is also a chance for her to re-start her life from a clean slate.

She confides in him entirely, but this relationship does not come easy: Anton has quite a few secrets and mysteries, and before long Olga’s love is rivaled by her own sister, and soon enough the woman’s life enters a downward spiral. In desperate times, she is supported by Maksim, Anton’s friend and partner who is going through a rough patch coming to terms with the death of his brother and is obsessed with the idea of finding those responsible for it.

Who can be trusted and who is to blame for all misfortunes, what is the cost of human error and whether life gives second chances – the characters are about to find the answers to these questions.

The film tells the story of the work of the rescuers of the consolidated unit of the State Emergency Service in the first days after the liberation of Kherson from the Russian occupiers.

November 2022, de-occupied Kherson is under constant Russian shelling. Every day and night, new destruction: apartment buildings, hospitals, schools, city networks. But despite the constant danger, rescuers respond to urgent calls several times a day and continue to do their job for the sole purpose of saving as many lives as possible.

The series begins on 31 December 2021. The protagonist, Svyatoslav, makes a long-awaited proposal to Marina, but the joyful moment is interrupted by a call from his ex-wife asking him to come to the aid of his son. In the end, all the problems are resolved and the characters meet the new year 2022 with the hope that it will be peaceful. Some of them believe in a full-scale invasion, others think that all the talk of a big war is just hype, but in general, they live their everyday lives and want to believe in the best, until they wake up to explosions on 24 February.

To escape the rocket attacks, Sviatoslav, like many Kyiv residents in the first days of the full-scale invasion, goes to his mother's house in the countryside, where he gathers his pregnant fiancée, son, ex-wife and mother-in-law under one roof. Relations between the women become increasingly tense, and Sviat is unable to make a final choice between the past and the future.

A few days later, the town is occupied and the Russians start shooting civilians. To escape, the characters must find a common language and use their only chance to evacuate.
