Вероніка  працює у слідчому комітеті України. У неї є все – перспективна робота, люблячий чоловік, тепла сімейна атмосфера. Але щастя дівчини руйнується в одну мить, коли вона дізнається, що її чоловіка Костю вбили саме на річницю їхнього весілля.

На місці, де виявили труп Кості, також знайшли тіло Лєри, дружини авторитетного бізнесмена. Усе вказує на те, що між молодими людьми був роман. Але Ніка відмовляється вірити у зраду чоловіка. Їй доведеться дізнатися, хто ж стоїть за загибеллю Кості та що насправді пов'язувало її чоловіка з красунею Лєрою.
