During the full-scale invasion, Russia has used over ten thousand missiles and drones against Ukraine. Most of them were shot down by the Ukrainian Air Force - heroes who have been defending peaceful towns and villages since the first minutes of the war, despite the occupiers' air superiority. Vadym Voroshylov, Rostyslav Lazarenko, Dmytro Shkarevskyi and Ihor Kyselov are four pilots who have over 550 combat missions and 650 enemy targets destroyed. It is their impressive stories of struggle that are included in the documentary project "Lords of the Sky".

The film is about the 1999 match between the football teams of Ukraine and Russia in Moscow, which ended in a 1-1 draw. After that, the Russians lost their chances of reaching the final stage of the tournament.

Ukrainian footballers Andrii Shevchenko, Serhii Rebrov, Oleksandr Holovko, Vladyslav Vashchuk, Yurii Dmytrulin, the then national team coach Jozsef Szabo, journalists, fans, some of whom have now joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, revealed unknown details of the events that took place during and around the match.
