Anna Polanskaya has a happy life. She works in a cosmetic company together with her husband. But sudden problems make her think about her marriage and work. All of a sudden, woman’s alter ego has appeared – this is Yana, who helps the girl to start a new life.

At first glance, the capricious beauty Masha Voznytska has everything - a luxurious house, a rich man-businessman Boris, perfect appearance. However, Masha is unhappy - she has long dreamed of having a child, and her husband Boris has moved away and disappears at work. After trying all means to get his attention, Masha decides to take a desperate step - to participate in the reality show "Wife in Exchange", where she exchanges houses with a woman of much less wealth for a week.

So Masha finds herself in Shevelyov's family - she is met by a good-natured car mechanic Sasha and his shy daughter Anya. Once in their small two-room apartment after her spacious mansion, Masha feels a real shock and tries to go home the first evening, but Boris, outraged by her antics, says he is not waiting for her.

Masha has to stay with Shevelyov. Gradually, she learns more about Sasha and Anya and is imbued with sincere sympathy for them - she helps Ana win the boy she likes, and Sasha believes in himself. The closer the end of the reality show, the more Masha thinks, and which of her two families is real.

Meanwhile, Lyuba Shevelyova - Sasha's wife and the second participant of the show, absolutely fascinates Masha's husband Boris, and soon it turns out that she has far-reaching plans for him ...

The film's protagonists are ordinary people of different professions: builders, entrepreneurs, workers, and even playwrights and writers. All of them volunteered for the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the beginning of the racist invasion and ended up in an infantry battalion that, along with other units, took part in the defense of Chernihiv in key areas. They defended Chernihiv and are ready to defend Ukraine!

Now the Simargle battalion is defending Ukraine in the east, and some of the film's participants are unfortunately no longer alive.
