A film from the documentary series Fortress Mariupol.
The film's protagonist, Valeria "Nava" Subbotina, is a journalist, poet, and military officer. Valeria is originally from Mariupol. She worked in the press service of the Azov regiment, and later in the State Border Guard Service.
When Russian troops began to surround Mariupol, Nava stayed in the city to defend it with her beloved, whom she loved dearly. Nava would end up at Azovstal with her Azov family. Wounded in the bunker, she will start writing poetry. We recorded a video call with the girl at Azovstal, and she sent us a poem in a video message. At the plant, she will marry her beloved Andriy. He will die 3 days after the wedding.
On April 10, 2023, Nava returned from Russian captivity, where she had been held for 11 months.

Documentary film – “Prince Volodymyr the Great”. Genre: Docudrama. 54min.
“Prince Volodymyr the Great”, - this project was a surprise for our team because it started as simple documentary investigation and now ends as almost full scale historical reconstruction with almost feature film plot full of unexpected twists. From fight for his throne among his brothers to his historical decisions about baptizing his country as a political measure to achieve his goals. We try to figure out these goals with some untold historical pieces of his story. Was he really a negative character whose actions, that defined fate of many countries, were motivated by his own desires or he was led by will of his people and needs of his country.
We try to recreate some moments of his life mixing interviews of historians of different countries to understand all scale of his influence. And with this information we create movie sequence that can demonstrate relationships and conflicts that surrounded him and not just illustrate atmosphere of his time.
And now, this future movie became not only a story about one political leader of old time but more about tragedy that politics brought within itself then and maybe brings itself nowadays.
