At the heart of the story is Vera's cardiac surgeon. Her life is destroyed when her husband leaves her with a young daughter and a sick mother, and at the doorstep of the house appears a woman who calls herself his wife.

Faith is forced to return to the hospital where she previously worked to provide for her family. A woman will be dedicated to saving lives at the operating table, despite the fact that it has turned into darkness.
