In the village, everyone calls her Frodo. The full name – Aphrodite  – was only called the late father and beloved Paul, with whom she had divorced many years ago. He equated Frodo with a young investigator, went to the city asleep and stayed there.

Years passed, youth went, and there was not a day of happiness in Frody's life. And so Paul returned, but not one: he brought a mother to his three children. Frodo's heart trembled as if they had parted yesterday...

Sharp eyes open into darkness,
Beats the clock: four, five…
My heart is in hot fatigue,
I still can't sleep today.

But tomorrow I will get up calmly,
Yes, as always, without any changes,
And in life, as in a carefree dance,

The project team is looking for hetman's jewels that confirm Ukrainian statehood and refutes the myths about the Cossacks that have been imposed for years. One of the relics that disappeared from Ukraine is the heart of Hetman Kyryl Rozumovsky. During his burial, a unique sacrament was performed with a limited circle of initiates. The heart was taken from the body. In "Treasures of the Nation" Akim Galimov together with the hetman's descendant - Count Gregor Rozumovsky - will try to find the Ukrainian relic and return it to its place.

The creators of the film also set themselves the goal of debunking the myths that distort people's ideas about the heroic era of the Ukrainian Cossacks.

The plot is based on a love affair between three young people. Poor nobleman Stepan and the daughter of impoverished parents Elena love each other to the core. The girl's parents are on the verge of ruin, they want to marry their daughter to a rich but elderly merchant Kolevanov, to somehow correct the deplorable condition of the family. Lovers run away from home to secretly get married and be together.

Marysya, a young and capricious Cossack, lives in the village where the newlyweds came. The father pampers his daughter and does not deny her anything since childhood. Stepan saves the girl from death, as a result of which he condemns himself to unbridled boundless love on the part of Marisa. She decided to marry Stepan to herself, declared war on lovers, and in war, as we know, all means are good to win. At least that's what the stubborn Cossack thinks…

The film is based on the stories of people whose lives changed radically after the Revolution of Dignity.

The tape consists of six chapters. Each letter of the word "Maidan" is the title of the chapter, which symbolizes the theme related to the events of the Revolution of Dignity, the memories shared by the heroes of the film.
