Since launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Russian leaders have imposed methods for undermining Ukraine’s future by targeting its children. Russian troops are regularly accused of abducting minors, then forcing them into adoptions or captivity so they can be re-educated as Russian patriots.

Children In The Fire is the collective war diary of resilient Ukrainians who witnessed the worst of humanity, yet remain motivated young athletes, performers and public servants. Through live-action footage and Ukrainian artists’ animation, the documentary joins eight kids on international journeys to pursue their goals. Each child embodies the promise of their homeland and the potential of a nonviolent world.

The film consists of three parts, each of which is a novella, told by a character named Grafoman. At the center of each story is a man who, in his attempts to change the world around him, encounters the power that every woman depletes.

The first story will tell what men's jealousy can bring.

The second story revolves around the unlucky artist, who for his beloved gave way to his dreams and desires.

The third story is about a man who was about to change absolutely everything around him, but realized that he could not achieve it himself if he ignored love.

The love story doesn't end with the final credits ... And it doesn't even end with an event that can ruin everything. The love of our heroes turned out to be so strong that it became even more interesting, even more exciting, intriguing and only gained new momentum! How to live the heroes now, knowing that the son of Tatiana and Kemal – from Igor? Will Kemal be able to accept and accept a child as his own? What will Igor do? How to establish communication between father and son and who is still a real father ?! These difficult life questions will find their answers in the second season, and viewers will be convinced that life is the best screenplay and Big Love always wins!
