Fifty years of Ukrainian life through the lens of three generations of photographers who passed the baton of protest art to one another. The film delves into Ukrainian history, far from clichés, through the prism of the Kharkiv School of Photography and its artistic and political influence. From the USSR of the 1960s to the current war, this is a chronicle of rebellious and provocative Ukraine through the embodied stories of its artists, their personal archives, and carefully crafted photographs.
