A look at war and revolution in Ukraine through the eyes of ordinary participants in these events. Among the main characters are children's theater director Andrew Bohemia Sharaskin, physician Vsevolod Steblyuk, rabbi Nathan Khazin and other participants in the Maidan revolution, who left their ordinary lives for the sake of creating a more democratic, just and independent state. When Russia annexed Crimea and invaded Eastern Ukraine, the film's heroes went to war to protect and change their country. The film shows this intense struggle, which has now claimed the lives of over 10,000 Ukrainians and millions lost their homes.
The film covers the period 2013-2016, which turned into a time of great challenges and challenges for Ukraine. The film contains testimonials of political, criminal, war crimes and terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine.
