The 1970s of Soviet Ukraine. Political asphyxiation at the Odessa Film Studio. A KGB curator orders the re-finished film of a well-known director to cover the events of the Ukrainian civil war from a true perspective, which is contrary to party politics. Remodeling is entrusted to the trainee director who just graduated from VGIK. The girl understands that she must protect the author's vision and historical truth. Love, politics, a dangerous task, friends and enemies are all her challenges.
