The film was created to celebrate the anniversary of Roman Kofman, a prominent contemporary musician, writer, composer, and long-time chief conductor of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine.

The film features world-renowned musicians and composers – friends and colleagues of the hero of the day: Arvo Pärt, Valentyn Sylvestrov, Gia Kancheli, Gidon Kremer, Eliso Virsaladze, Natalia Gutman, Stig Andersen and others. The film also features Ada Rohovtseva and Kirill Karabits, a student of Roman Isakovich. Memoirs of Roman Kofman himself and his wife Iryna Sablina are intertwined with quotes from the maestro's books, his poems and music performed by him.
