The film follows the path of perhaps the only wage earner in the world - a 10-day walking pilgrimage from Sambir to Zarvanytsya, dedicated and organized by Ukrainian migrant workers and their families. While walking and praying, pilgrims not only receive grace, but also share their experiences abroad and reunite with families alienated during the migration years. They try to overcome the shattering stereotypes and feelings of guilt for migration. In a state of complete disregard for the state, the church appears to be a contradictory but almost the only driver of social and political resistance.
