Ukrainian Film Academy, UFA — ukrainian association of experts and professionals in the field of film and film production, founded in 2017 to support and develop contemporary Ukrainian cinema. Since 2017, the Ukrainian Film Academy holds an annual award for the Golden Jig National Film Award.

The Ukrainian Academy of Cinema was created to promote Ukrainian cinema in Ukraine and beyond, comprehensive support for the development of national cinema by: organizing and conducting events during which cinema experts will objectively identify the best achievements and personnel in national cinema. One such event is the annual national film awards ceremony «Golden Jig » for outstanding achievements in Ukrainian cinema; organizing events to familiarize moviegoers with novelties of Ukrainian cinema; financial support for educational film programs.
