Biography Pavlo Legenky was born on September 14, 1975 in the urban-type village of Donskoe, Volnovasky district, Donetsk region, Ukraine, in the family of workers Ivan Mykytovych Legenky (1938-2003) and Inna Valentynivna Legenka (1944-). Paternal great-grandfather Fyodor Legenky moved from Chernihiv Governorate to Yekaterinoslav Governorate, to the village of Dmytrievka (now the village of Dmyrovka, Volnovasky district, Donetsk region, Ukraine) in the middle or end of the 19th century and was a free peasant. Father Ivan Legenky was born in the village of Dmytrievka, and in 1954 he went to work as a worker in a bakery, in 1956 he went to work at the Donetsk Chemical and Metallurgical Plant. My father's ancestors were engaged in agriculture and cattle breeding. Pavel Legenkoy's mother, Inna Valentynivna, nee Spaska, moved to Ukraine with her family in 1949 from Kalinin Oblast of the RSFSR (now Tver Oblast of the Russian Federation) and her family settled in the urban-type village of Donskoe, Volnova District, Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine in 1957. Inna Valentynivna worked as a plasterer on construction sites at the Donetsk Chemical and Metallurgical Plant all her life. In 1992, after graduating from school, Pavlo Legenky entered the vocational school (SPTU-52) of Mariupol, where he graduated as an electric and gas welder in 1993. From 1994 to 2003, he worked as an electric gas welder in a specialized stone quarry. From 2003 to 2006, Pavlo Legenkyi worked as an electric and gas welder at JSC Ilyich Combine in Mariupol, in a branch located in his native village of Donskoe. In 2004, Pavlo Legenky entered the Donetsk Industrial and Pedagogical Technical College, graduating in 2007 with a master's degree in industrial training in the field of welding. In 2007, he entered the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy in Kharkiv, which he graduated in 2011, majoring in mechanical engineering, teaching special subjects in the field of welding.
