Pavlo Lypa was born in 1991 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Graduated from Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinematography and Television named by I.K. Karpenko-Kary in 2013. In 2014 joined volunteer documentary project Babylon'13 dedicated to Euromaidan mass protests of 2013-2014, Crimean crisis of 2014 and War in Donbass. After series web-docs for Babylon'13 started to work on Crimea as It Was full length documentary in 2015 as an editor. During 2016-2019 filmed various VR projects and documentaries in Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, including Back to Chernobyl for KAN: Israeli Public Broadcasting. In 2018 joined DocNoteFilms Studio, with whom shot and produced numerous films and TV projects, most notably Tangible Freedom short documentary in 2018 and Krutyi Zamis TV series in 2019-2020.
