KINOCOLO National Film Critics Prize is an annual award established in 2018 that determines the achievements of Ukrainian cinematographers and filmmakers over the past year on behalf of the Ukrainian film critics community.
The winners of the award are determined by the National Film Critics Committee. It includes film critics and film critics who are members of FIPRESSI, and authors whose texts and analytical materials are published in the Ukrainian media. Applicants must have at least one year's experience. The Award Committee currently has 42 members.
Those who wish to join the committee can apply for membership by providing links to published material of their authorship and by adding recommendations from two full members of the Prize committee. Applications are accepted from November 27 to December 27. The decision to admit new members to the committee is made by the Prize Admissions Committee.
The award is organized by the Union of Film Critics of Ukraine, the Association “Promoting the Development of Cinematography in Ukraine - See Ukrainian!” and Arthouse Traffic with the support of the State Film Agency of Ukraine.
