The best film by Ukrainian film critics and filmmakers called Nariman Aliyev's drama "Home," which also received the Best Director Award.
On October, 24th in the capital cinema «Zhovten» there was a ceremony of awarding the «Kinokolo» prize which is presented by Ukrainian film critics and film journalists for the second year in a row. The ceremony took place as part of the opening of the 3rd Kiev Criticism Week.
This year's awards were presented in eight nominations, in one of them - "Best Animation" - the award was presented for the first time.

Opening of the year - My thoughts are quiet, dir. Antonio Lukic, continued Alla Belaya, Dmitry Sukhanov
This year, the leader in the number of nominations were Nariman Aliyev's drama Home (6 nominations), Antonio Lukic's comedy My Thoughts (5 nominations) and Timur Yashchenko's U311 "Cherkasy" drama (4 nominations).
The Kinokol Award was founded in 2018 by the Ukrainian Film Critics Union. This year, the films produced by the Ukrainian production, which were first shown in Ukraine between October 1, 2018 and September 30, 2019, were nominated this year, ie they had a cinema rental on the territory of Ukraine or were shown for the first time at the Ukrainian film festival.
The award is organized by the Ukrainian Film Critics Union, the Association “Promoting the Development of Cinematography in Ukraine - See Ukrainian!” and Arthouse Traffic with the support of the State Film Agency of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Cultural Fund.
