Winners of the Best Makeup, Best Costume Design, Best Sound, Best Editing, Best Short Feature, Best Performing Artist, and Best Music nominations announced
“Golden Jig” in the nomination “Best makeup” was awarded to Kateryna Strukova for her work in the film “The Gate” (directed by Vladimir Tykhy). The award was presented by Honored Artist of Ukraine, laureate of the Kyiv Pectoral, Kinokol, Tetriumph and Women in Arts awards, nominee for the Golden Dziga Irma Vitovskaya and Serhiy Bordenyuk - cinematographer, honored actor of Ukraine Imago and board member of the Ukrainian Film Academy.
The award for "Best Costume Design" was awarded to Maria Kero for her work in "Noble Tramps" (directed by Alexander Berezan). “Golden Jig” was awarded to the winner of the Second Film Award in the nomination “Best Costume Artist” by Svetlana Simonovich and one of the best designers of Ukraine, Andre Tan brand founder Andre Tan.
The Best Sound nomination was won by Serhiy Stepansky for his work on the tapes “Wild Field” (directed by Yaroslav Lodygin) and “DZIDZIO FIRST TIME” (directed by Mikhail Foma and Taras Dron). On the stage of the winner were awarded the star of the freak cabaret “Dakh Daughters”, nominee for the Golden Dziga film award - Ruslana Khazipova and actor, TNMK frontman Oleg Mikhailuta (Fagot).
Ivan Bannikov won the Best Editing nomination. His work has been acclaimed for his films “Call of Duty“ Banderas ”(dir. Zaza Bouadze),“ She and War ”(dir. Maria Kondakova) and“ When the Trees Fall ”(dir. Marisya Nikitiuk). The Golden Jig Award was presented to the film crew by a renowned producer, winner of the Golden Jig Award for Best Picture, board member of the Ukrainian Film Academy - Ivanna Dyadura and producer, member of the European Film Academy and board member of the Ukrainian Film Academy.
The best short feature film was the work of Mia Donna director Pavel Ostrikov. “Golden Jig” was presented to the film crew by a member of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Film Academy, a member of the European Film Academy, general producer of the Odessa International Film Festival Yulia Sinkevich and a member of the Supervisory Board, art director of the Ukrainian Film Academy Alik Shpilyuk. “The short feature film is a truly unique genre, unique form and absolute territory of freedom. Someone says it's difficult to rent short meters, get them to the audience. But, nevertheless, the most prestigious festivals, including the Odessa International Film Festival, preserve and develop the program of a short meter, ”- said the general producer of the Odessa International Film Festival Yulia Sinkevich.
“Golden Jig” in the nomination “Best work of the production director” was awarded to Vladlen Odudenko for his work on the film “Wild Field” (directed by Yaroslav Lodygin). Honored Artist of Ukraine, Roman Lutsk Film Award nominee, theater and cinema actress, and VIVA! Award nominee took the stage to award the winner. Most Beautiful - 2018 ”by Elena Lavrenyuk.
Anton Baybakov won the Best Music nomination for his work on the film "The Gate" (directed by Vladimir Tykhy). “Golden Jig” was presented by the nominee for the Golden Jig Award, the winner of the Olesya Ulyanenko International Literary Prize Marisya Nikityuk and the winner of the Cinema Award in the nomination “Spectator”, the nominee of the third screenplay, , singer, Michael Homa (DZIDZIO).
The stage entertained guests of the ceremony by the band "Rayband", which this year competed for the victory in the nomination "Best song".
The honesty and credibility of the results of the voting was confirmed by the auditing and consulting company Kreston GCG, which is the official auditor of the Third National Film Award.
