Members of the Ukrainian Film Academy have nominated nominees for the Fifth Golden Whirlwind National Film Award. A new stage of voting begins on April 23 - for the winners of this year's Film Award, who will be named at the award ceremony.
86 feature and short films were submitted for the Fifth Golden Whirlwind Film Award. Of these, 81 films were included in the long list: 21 full-length feature films, 21 short feature films, 22 documentaries, 1 full-length animated film, 6 short animated films and 10 TV series.
The awards will be presented in 23 nominations, including one new one - "Best Game Series". The winners in this and five other nominations, namely "Best Editing", "Best Makeup", "Best Costume Design", "Best Sound", "Best Visual Effects", will be determined by the members of the Supervisory Board and the Management Board. They will also determine the winner in the "Opening of the Year" nomination. And the winner of the "Audience Choice Award" will be chosen by viewers through online voting.
The leaders in the number of nominations for the V National Film Award "Golden Whirlwind" were:
