"Goodbye, Golovin", which won the award of the Odessa IFF as the best short film of the Ukrainian program was nominated for the Canadian Screen Awards.
The film is directed by Canadian Mathieu Grimar, starring Alexander Rudinsky and Dasha Plakhtiy. According to the plot, for Jan Golovin, his father's death is a chance for a new life outside his native country. When he prepares to leave and say goodbye to his sister, he is forced to face his decision - why he always moves forward blindly and what he leaves behind.
