At the moment, the film has 42 reviews on the site, including 38 positive and 4 negative, which together gives 90% positive reviews, and on a rating scale of 7.30 / 10. The calculation of verified top critics is: 7 positive reviews and one negative, which together gives 88% of positive reviews, and the average score is 7.30 / 10. The critical overall consensus of the site characterizes "Donbass" as: "Cruel, powerful and perfectly filmed, which is extremely effective in demonstrating human cruelty."
